Another transfer come and gone...
Well another week and another transfer for the books. This week we actually did have mild craziness all week long but also so many amazing, fun, testimony-building experiences on top of it. (I mean that basically sums up every week on the mission.) I'm going to try to be short
Sooo... on Tuesday we picked up 2 new investigators one of which just walked into the church while we were having district council. We had a very interesting lesson with her. She may or may not be crazy. We will see. Will send updates. The second one is Adelina. She is a super cute 16 year old who comes to english practice and wanted to do lessons with us!
Wednesday night we had a crazy adventure running around the entire city finding a marshrutka (bus) to take us to Balti (the other area in Moldova with sisters). We went to 2 different bus stations on opposite sides of town, ran around the whole city sweating our guts out, met a really nice lady on a trolley bus who gave us a handful of cherries (dont worry we got her number ;), tried to get picked up by some slimy taxi drivers (I have no patience with these guys anymore and just laugh the whole time they talk to me haha) we FINALLY made it to the bus and got to Balti around 10 pm but it was all good because we got to be with our favorite sisters!
Friday we got transfers!! I am staying in Chisinau but Sister Olson is leaving me to go to Nova Darnitsya (one of my past areas) and I will be getting a new companion. I am super excited for this transfer but I also realized I only have 4 transfers left in my mission so now I am mildly freaking out yikes. These missions go by wayyyyy too fast.
Also our shower was broken for a while this week. I wont specify how long haha to spare you all but we got desperate and got creative haha. Thanks to Elder Caron (senior missionary) for helping us out when our landlord wouldnt!
Sunday was a great day. Because sister olson is leaving the relief society made us take pictures with them after church. I LOVE THIS BRANCH. The members are actually the cutest people ever. Anyway, then we walked sister berdeiu home with Sister Natasha and had a little walk around the lake then taught them how to make lemon bars. I LOVE THIS BRANCH (sorry just so much love).
Anyway I love you all and hope you have a great week!
Love,
Cectpa Daines
