Spring is here! (I think)

Hello everyone! The weather here has me in such a good mood, the sun is shining and i don't need my giant winter parka anymore, it's a miracle.

This week we started teaching a lot of new people! One of our new investigators is Alina, she is studying at university and is getting a masters degree in German. She is so cool and has been coming to English practice since August and we finally asked her if she would be interested in taking the lessons and she said yes of course! So we taught her the Restoration and she really accepted it and is just so interested why we are here as missionaries so we were able to testify to her and the Spirit was definitely there.

We also had a few miracles this week. One of which was getting our washing machine fixed. For the last 4 weeks, our washing machine has been broken and would flood our bathroom floor. So we just did the bare minimum and finally, the washing machine guy came and now all of our clothes are clean! Another miracle this week was when we were going to have a lesson with a less active member who we found on the ward list. We had a tiring day of lots of contacting and lots of rejection and so we went to her house not knowing what to expect. She opened the door and it was a sweet active member from our ward who we didn't know her last name! She let us in and fed us pancakes and tea and showed us her family pictures. We were so grateful!

We also had some celebrations this week! First of which was Valentine's Day. I woke up early and made my companions heart-shaped french toast and decorated a little bit. It was a fun way to start the day. Today is also Sister Moore's birthday so Sister Maisey and I decorated the whole apartment and surprised her by waking her up with flashing lights in her face. It was great and welcome to the 20's club sister Moore!

This week in my personal study I read "A reservoir of living water" by David A. Bednar. It is about studying the scriptures and how we can better learn of Christ from the scriptures by reading, studying, and searching. I invite you all to read it this week and to really search the scriptures for truths of Christ.

I love you all,
Cectpa Daines
