Christmas is over... but not in Ukraine!
Last week was CHRISTMAS! We spent our Christmas with our zone playing games, making pancakes, and watching "The Saratov Approach". (Don't worry it was approved by our President). So our day was not too shabby for a mission Christmas. Although I don't recommend watching a movie about kidnapped missionaries right before you skype your family at home haha. but it was so great to call them at home! I love and miss you all and hope you had a erryM Christmas!

Other things that happened this week include:
- 2 new investigators! We really are excited about this! One is Lera who is engaged to a missionary who is actually serving in our mission right now so we will see how that goes haha. The other is Valentina who we found in the area book and loves learning about religions so we are excited to have new people to teach.
- Our trio participated in a nativity play at an old folks home and we played the angels (naturally).
- We got fed some BOMB Ukrainian food by a member. Like she had the best borscht and cherry compote ever. We are going back to make bread with her this week.
- Also, there was a jar of Skippy super chunk peanut butter in the missionary closet in the church and it's been sitting in there tempting us for weeks! AND IT WAS IN A FLIPPING SMITHS GROCERY BAG. *tears* so on Christmas we took it (shhh don't tell anyone). So we have been enjoying our peanut butter a lot this week.
And I think that's it for the week! Happy new year! This is the biggest holiday in Ukraine so we are going to avoid the drunk people by staying inside tonight and tomorrow. This is also the first time I have ever seen the alcohol aisle in the grocery store completely empty so I'm excited.
Love,
