Wowow what a fun week! This week was awesome and we have seen so much to be grateful for. We spent our Thanksgiving contacting on the street and then eating salads and CINNABON. So yes it was a good day haha. We also had a Thanksgiving miracle and got a new investigator, Luda who came to church last week! She met with us a couple times this week and came to church again! We are so excited about it and she read that we aren't allowed to drink coffee and already is trying not to drink it. She also wants to be baptized, we haven't set a date yet but she is praying and reading to know if this is true or not so she can be baptized.  On Saturday we had Zone Conference and the amazing senior couples made us THANKSGIVING DINNER!! It was chicken instead of turkey cuz that ain't a thing here in Ukraine but it was really good and it made me HAPPY!  Also we had an adventure on Sunday and got stuck in a sketchy elevator on the way to church for an hour and so we missed all of sa...

Snow Day in Ukraine

WOWOWOW what a week!!!! This has been a CRAZY week filled with miracles and just hilarious experiences. First of all, we had exchanges this week with our STLs in Kharkivsky. We all went to their area and it was a PARTY. Mostly because in the morning while we were studying it started SNOWING FOR THE FIRST TIME! It was so exciting! SO it was a really fun exchange. We did a hot cocoa singing book table which kinda flopped because sister Soucie and I put the ceramic crock pot on the stove to make it heat up faster which just resulted in it cracking and the milk pouring out. But it was still fun. Then we had some great lessons and ended the exchange by ambushing Sister King and sister Vehar with snowballs. It was a great day!  Friday was full of great things. We met Kcenya for lunch and she took us to her work and she introduced us to her coworkers who actually really liked us so it was pretty cool. Then we went to Evalina's house (the less active that we visit every week). We ...

Hey hey ho ho another week here we go!

My apologies for the subject line. I am running out of ideas. But here is the dealio with this week... On Tuesday we had interviews! We got to go to President Kumferman's house which is an actual house and not an apartment. It looks like an American house so all the missionaries love going there. We get to hang out while other missionaries are in their interviews and eat homemade food from Sister Kumferman. Needless to say, it was a great day. Other things that happened this week included sharing recipes with a less active member that we visit every week, Evalina (she is the one who's house is full of spider webs if you remember from my email a few weeks ago). This visit was a little less gross. She suffers from depression and it has been a long road working with her. We have gone from her avoiding us and having to have a stakeout outside her apartment to meet us on the bench outside and now we go every week to read the Book of Mormon with her and offer service. Usuall...

Happy Halloween!!

This week was the first week of my third transfer in Ukraine and I am no longer a trainee! I'm a real missionary now everyone! But all in all this week was awesome!  On Wednesday we had a Halloween party with our English practice, we played minute to win it games and it was so fun!  We also had an amazing lesson with Kcenya on the Law of Chastity this week and at the end, she didn't hate us so she invited us to sushi! Blessings!  Other than that this week hasn't had much going on!  Love you all and hope you have a great week!  Pictures!!!: 1. Chapter 6 of Preach my Gospel - Christlike Attributes 2. Cathedral and the Spusk in Kiev (Spusk just means a gradually desceding road haha) 3. We got these cute watercolor cards from a free book box in the park and they made us happyyy! 4. Sushi with Kcenya 5. my pal Annie from English practice 6. Mummy wrapping
