Hello everyone from Madrid week 2!
It´s true what they say about the MTC, days feel like weeks and weeks feel like days. Everyday is jam packed with Russian but it is coming along. I am genuinely surprised by how much I enjoy it!
The highlight of my week was definitely the park on Saturday. Here at the Madrid MTC, we ride the Metro to a gorgeous park every Saturday to proselyte. They switch up our companionships so we can be with people who actually speak Spanish. This week my comp was Hermana Broadhead who is one of my best friends here at the MTC: I was surprised at how much I could speak and understand Spanish. I guess the Holy Ghost is using those 6 years to my advantage! We had some great conversations while we were there, and some were even in english. Bless! It is safe to say the park is my favorite day of the week because it reminds me of why I came here in the first place, to share the gospel!
Last Pday we went to the city of Alcala. It is the birthplace of Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote. It was absolutely beautiful! (I promise I'm not on vacation although it may seem like it. I still learn a ton of Russian every day and study my booty off!)
All things are good here at the MTC, another week in paradise! I love to get emails during the week becuase we are allowed to check our emails every night so please keep them coming!
Love you all!
